Pole Position Scaling runs Facebook and Instagram advertising for local service businesses. This page explains exactly what we collect on polepositionscaling.com, why we collect it, and how to get it deleted. Plain English, no padding.
What we collect
What you type into the contact form. Your name, your business name, your phone number, and your email address. That's the whole form — we don't ask for anything else and there are no hidden fields collecting more.
The technical details that come with any web request. Your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the page you submitted from, and the site that referred you. We store these next to a form submission to fight spam and abuse, and for nothing else.
Cookieless analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets no cookies, builds no profile, and cannot follow you to other websites. That is why this site has no cookie banner — there are no tracking cookies to consent to.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you about working together. That is the only reason we ask for your details.
- To prepare for that conversation — which may include looking at information your business already makes public, like your website, Google listing, or running ads.
- To keep the site secure, and to keep bots out of the form.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages people find useful.
What we don't do: we don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We don't add you to a mailing list because you filled in the form. We don't use your details to target ads at you. If we ever want to send you something you didn't ask for, we'll ask first.
Who else handles it
Only the services that make the site work. Each one sees your submission only in order to deliver it:
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics |
| Supabase | The database your submission is stored in |
| Resend | Delivers the notification email that tells us you got in touch |
| Our email provider | Holds that notification, and any replies between us |
We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it — a valid legal request, or to protect someone's safety or our rights.
Advertising trackers
This site does not currently run any advertising pixel or conversion tracker — no Meta Pixel, no Google tag. If we add one to measure our own advertising, we will update this page and the effective date above before it goes live.
How long we keep it
Form submissions stay in our database while we're in contact and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. After that they're deleted. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Your choices
Email nicholasmiku@polepositionscaling.com and we will, within 30 days and at no cost:
- tell you exactly what we hold about you,
- correct anything that's wrong, or
- delete it.
Depending on where you live — California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, the EU or UK, among others — you may have these as formal legal rights. We apply the same policy to everyone who asks, so you don't need to cite a statute. Just email us.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Database credentials live only on the server and are never sent to your browser, and the leads table can't be read without them. No system is perfect, so please don't send sensitive information — Social Security numbers, card numbers, health details — through the form. We will never ask you for any of it.
Children
This site sells a service to businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. Material changes will be called out here rather than slipped in quietly.
